Our philosophy:
We are a replica team of their drift team in the game Live For Speed, shortened as (LFS) with the exception that we have our own touch skull-logo wise. It all began that we were driving under a international drifting team called 'Nopi Drift', that has existed since middle of 2007. It was very successful during the time we was handed over the lead to run the team forward, with managing to place ourselves in good standings at competitions and various events. But over the time the lineup eventually almost only consisted people from the nordic.
Since the main core of the lineup has known each other for years, and that most of us has big influence and originates from Norway, we felt that we wanted to create our own path as a nordic based team only. We are a very much welded together team so the decision was common from all sides to keep it as intact as possible. BS Bildeler came into our mind pretty much instantly, as we have strong connections to the real team and feel it speaks and fits us very well on so many levels.
And here we are today under our badass skull and purple banner, since 21th July (2012), fully established and doing remarkable progress. Our aims are to be an professional and competive team inside the drifting scene in LFS, with high standards.
Live for Speed is a racing simulator with heavy emphasis on realism, which is essentially designed to be played online. Among other things, the physics engine simulates tyres, the suspension, aerodynamics, the drivetrain, several gearbox types, clutch overheating, car body damage, and engine damage. The tyre model features dynamic wear, dynamic dirt, flat spots, hot spots and tyre wall deformation.
LFS has seven different fictional track areas, including one loosely based on eastern central London, one based on Jamaican surroundings and one near Kyoto, Japan. Each one of them has several different configurations and each of those can be also driven in reversed configuration. Altogether, there are 54 configurations including three rallycross tracks. Additionally, users can create their own custom layouts using cones and other objects with the in-game autocross editor; the two car park environments in the game are useful for creating such layouts.
LFS developers and its users has always had a close dialogue, probably because everyone who plays LFS are beta testers, whether they want to or not. There are arranged events and organized leagues where people compete, usually on a weekly basis for several months. And there are frequently published movies created by the community along with skin livery's in various combinations for all cars.
